operatoridi Poste italiane e che adescavano le loro vittime con un smscon cui venivano avvisate di un accesso anomalo sul proprioconto e invitate a cliccare su un link allegato. Due di loro,residenti a Napoli, sono finiti in carcere in esecuzione diun'ordinanza emessa dal gip del tribunale di Genova. I reaticontestati sono truffa, sostituzione di persona e accessoabusivo a sistema informatico. Un terzo complice è statodenunciato per gli stessi reati a seguito di una perquisizioneeffettuata nel capoluogo partenopeo. Si tratta dell'esito di una complessa indagine condottadagli investigatori del Centro operativo per la SicurezzaCibernetica di Genova e di Napoli, coordinati dal ServizioPolizia Postale e per la Sicurezza Cibernetica, con la direzionedella procura di Genova.Le attività investigative hanno preso le mosse dallapresentazione di due querele presso gli uffici della PoliziaPostale di Genova, in cui venivano descritti episodi chepresentavano analogie: entrambi i denuncianti avevano ricevuto,infatti, un sms, apparentemente proveniente da Poste Italiane,con cui venivano avvisati di un accesso anomalo sul proprioconto e invitati a cliccare su un link allegato. Il collegamentoreindirizzava su una falsa pagina del portale di home banking diPoste Italiane, dove era richiesto agli utenti di inserire lecredenziali di accesso.Successivamente i truffatori, fingendosi operatori di PosteItaliane e della Polizia Postale, contattavano telefonicamentele vittime modificando l'utenza del chiamante (c.d. tecnica dispoofing) e le inducevano, con abili raggiri, a recarsi in unufficio postale per effettuare un trasferimento di denaro su unnuovo conto corrente, da cui le somme venivano immediatamenteprelevate dagli indagati.I complessi accertamenti tecnici svolti dalla Polizia Postale ela preziosa collaborazione di Poste Italiane hanno consentito disventare numerose truffe e individuare oltre 40 vittimeresidenti in varie province italiane.
