Lo rileva la Bce nell'ultimo bollettino economico. I servizi "continuano a trainare la ripresa, mentre la produzione industriale e le esportazioni di beni risultano deboli". Gli indicatori relativi agli investimenti segnalano "una crescita modesta nel 2024, in un contesto di accresciuta incertezza". In prospettiva, ci si attende che la ripresa sia sostenuta dai consumi, sospinti dal rafforzamento dei redditi reali derivante dal calo dell'inflazione e dall'incremento dei salari nominali. Inoltre, le esportazioni dovrebbero aumentare a fronte della crescita della domanda mondiale. La Bce "si attende che l'inflazione oscilli intorno ai livelli attuali per il resto dell'anno", il 2,5% di giugno e il 2,6% di maggio, "per poi scendere approssimandosi all'obiettivo del 2% nella seconda metà del prossimo anno. Nel Bollettino si fa riferimento ai "rischi al rialzo per l'inflazione" che "provengono anche dalle accresciute tensioni geopolitiche, che potrebbero far aumentare i prezzi dell'energia e i costi di trasporto nel breve periodo e causare interruzioni nel commercio mondiale. Inoltre i fenomeni meteorologici estremi, e più in generale il dispiegarsi della crisi climatica, potrebbero far salire i prezzi dei beni alimentari.
