presentato un programma corposo di interventi di manutenzione straordinaria concentrati sul potenziamento e miglioramento delle strade dei comuni delle aree montane, di competenza delle Province. Il programma, approvato dalla giunta regionale, è finanziato con quattro milioni di euro rivenienti dal Fondo per lo sviluppo delle montagne italiane, assegnando 2.929.263 euro agli interventi da attuare nella provincia di Potenza e 681.414 per quelli nella provincia di Matera."Si tratta di opere - spiega Galella - che avranno un impatto diretto sulla sicurezza delle strade nei comuni montani. Gli sforzi si concentrano sul rifacimento di tratti del manto stradale, sugli interventi anti-frana nelle aree a rischio e sul rafforzamento delle strade nelle zone più vulnerabili ai dissesti, garantendo non solo la sicurezza degli utenti delle strade, ma anche - aggiunge - le proprietà e l'ambiente circostante. Trattamenti antiscivolo e sistemi avanzati di drenaggio sono parte integrante di questi interventi, importanti per prevenire danni e incidenti".Nel dettaglio si interverrà per la messa in sicurezza delle seguenti strade: SP 104 Sapri-Ionio (nel comune di Nemoli), SP146 Marsico Nuovo-Lama-Sellata (Marsico Nuovo e Abriola), SP 4 del Pollino (Rotonda), SP 5 (Potenza, Pignola, Abriola), SP 98 (Atella), SP 7 (previsti due interventi rispettivamente a San Martino d'Agri e a San Chirico Raparo), SP ex SS 94 (Vietri di Potenza), Sp 36 (Castelsaraceno), SP 87 (Avigliano), SP ex SS 103 di Val d'Agri (Guardia Perticara), SP 82 (Episcopia), SP 89 (Roccanova) e SP 27 Lagonegrese (Rivello).
