guerriglierodell'estinto Movimento 19 aprile (M-19) ed ex sindaco di Bogotà,è salito al potere in Colombia, diventando il primo presidentedi sinistra nella storia del Paese sudamericano. Da allora leacque politiche restano agitate, con molti analisti che gliimputano l'incapacità di dialogare.In questi due anni Petro ha insistito per introdurre riformesociali, ottenendo però solo l'approvazione di quella dellepensioni, mentre ha visto affondare al Congresso le iniziativesanitarie, politiche ed educative. L'elaborazione di alcune di queste riforme è stato il puntopiù critico del suo mandato, dopo che si è saputo che circa 260milioni di dollari, secondo i calcoli più cauti, sarebbero statitrasferiti dall'ufficio che si occupa di tragedie e disastrinaturali per pagare tangenti ai parlamentari in cambiodell'approvazione delle sue proposte.Un'altra pecca del suo mandato è rappresentata dallo stallonei negoziati di pace con i gruppi dissidenti delle ex Farc, trascambi di accuse sul mancato rispetto degli accordi presi.Una ulteriore nota dolente è l'economia: molti settori, comel'edilizia e l'industria, gli rimproverano di non aver fattoabbastanza. Per la Federazione nazionale dei commercianti(Fenalco), questi due anni di governo Petro "non sono statipositivi". "Al contrario, vediamo un peggioramento e una battutad'arresto generale", ha criticato il presidente del sindacato,Jaime Alberto Cabal."Come saranno i prossimi due anni?
