(askanews) - "Io penso che il Parlamento abbia il dovere di occuparsi della legge sulla cittadinanza, e in questo quadro anche la proposta referendaria può fare da pungolo": lo ha detto Laura Boldrini alla Camera a margine della proposta alternativa del PD al cosiddetto "Piano Mattei" per l'Africa del governo Meloni."La legge che abbiamo risale all'inizio degli anni Novanta e il mondo è cambiato. C'è per esempio a mia prima firma una proposta di legge condivisa con tutto il mondo laico e cattolico che si occupa di migrazione" ha detto l'ex presidente della Camera. "Dovrebbe essere portata all'attenzione, come le altre che ci sono. Invece la maggioranza fa finta che il problema non esiste. La proposta referendaria può servire da pungolo al Parlamento perché faccia quel che deve fare: è molto grave che il Parlamento non si occupi dei diritti delle persone, vale per la cittadinanza, il fine vita, per il matrimonio egalitario e per tutti i temi che riguardano i diritti"."Dare diritti agli altri non vuol dire privarne chi già quei diritti ha. Purtroppo vediamo che questo governo non intende analizzare e valutare proposte di legge su questi temi perché li ritiene un cedimento politico, per loro esiste solo un gruppo principale, un solo modello sociale, gli altri non sono degni di considerazione.
